Organic cultivation
I grow plants in “organic intermediate aroid” substrate according to the teachings of Sovann Chhun (@jungleeden). It is about biochemistry, the principle is to bring organic life into the substrate and to create a biological balance which works to develop the plant. We therefore play with beneficial bacteria and beneficial fungi to create a symbiosis.
The results are breathtaking, the plants are healthy, the leaves are thicker, shinier, more robust, they shine with health!
You have two options upon receipt of your plant:
- maintain the plant as if it were simple potting soil: the richness of the substrate will be preserved for a few months. I will give you advice, including for your cultivation in classic potting soil or sphagnum moss, or in coconut or PON (even if I don't like hydroponics and I will try to dissuade you 😂);
- maintain the plant in organic cultivation: I will be happy to accompany you!
Some basic recommendations for organic cultivation:
- water with reverse osmosis water, not tap water because chlorine kills our microorganisms;
- add EM (microferm) every other watering;
- add mushrooms depending on your plant care (do not hesitate to contact me);
- feed your plant with organic fertilizers;
- and obviously, feed all the critters that work in the pot for your plant!
And yes, it is indeed mold even if it is not visible in your pots.
